The Spruceglen was the first westbound ship to enter the seaway and go through the
St. Lambert Lock on March 31, 2009, during a ceremony to mark the start of the seaway’s 50th anniversary season.

Notice the shower of blue confetti as the Spruceglen breaks the blue ribbon to go through!
